For domestic consumers, Daikin offers an extensive range of single room, and multiple room, air conditioning systems which amongst many installers are considered to the the best in the industry. These include floor standing outdoor units, flexible type units which can be fitted on a wall or ceiling, and concealed ceiling units. The FLXS BA model, for example, is a low height model that can be fitted on a ceiling or a lower wall – including, for example, beneath a window – and is suitable for the provision of air conditioning in a single room. This Daikin air conditioning unit features inverter technology – the unit increases its capacity gradually according to the cooling or heating requirements of the room – and typically consumes up to 30% less energy than non-inverter units. Indeed the Daikin FLXS BA is rated A” for cooling and “B” for heating according to the European Union Energy Labelling Scheme. Other useful and energy saving features include “silent” operation which lowers the noise output of the unit by 3dB(A) when operating indoors, and “home leave”, which allows the indoor temperature in your home to be maintained at a certain level while you are away saving energy.

Multiple room, or “multi split“, systems for the Daikin range can be employed to air condition anything up to 7 individual rooms from a single outdoor unit. The Daikin FVXS-FV1B model, for example, is a floor standing model which can be installed against a wall, or recessed, and can be programmed on a weekly basis. The FVXS-FV1B features a titanium apatite photocatalytic purification filter – which removes dust and other impurities from the air and restricts the growth and spread of bacteria, viruses, and microbial spores – to ensure that the air in your home is hygienic, hypoallergenic, and healthy. This Daikin air conditioning unit includes “powerful” mode which allows your home to be cooled or heated quickly, if need be, but, by the same token, so-called “econo” mode allows power consumption to be decreased if power demands are greater elsewhere.
