The Kitchen is the main room of the house, we spend the most time in it yet many are left unloved with so much potential lost. Transforming a Kitchen into a family room can be a relatively simple task if you have the space, just add a couple of soft seats or a small sofa and you'll be surprised how the dynamics of the room change, people congregate and chat without the feeling of formality of a living or dining room.
If you're short on space then consider removing a wall and combing the dining & kitchen area to create a modern open plan Kitchen, this will increase the value of your home and make the space far more useable.
